Monday Free Download: "Locus of Control as an Indicator of Risk for Suicidal Behaviour..."

This paper was first published in 1993, and was one of the first to demonstrate that suicidal behaviour in young people was more likely in those with an external Locus of Control. That is, if they believed that their lives were under the control of others - their parents, the school, or the world, then they did not feel in charge of themselves or their direction in life.
