Australians spend millions on air travel every year. Apparently, with 6.94 million passengers per annum, Melbourne - Sydney ranks as the 5th busiest air route in the world, according to a map of The World’s Busiest Air Routes in 2012? (map supplied by Vizual Statistix). Seoul to Jeju (the Hawaii of Korea) ranks as 1st on the list.
I always wondered what Australians spent their money on. Perhaps there is a very strong argument for a very fast train - to reduce costs for the future....
